With over 25 years working full-time in the industry and 18+ years of hands-on field experience, Jason has built something most companies can’t replicate: a leader who combines true on-site construction knowledge with a genuine eye for design and the business acumen to bring it all together.
That ground-up foundation — literally started by sweeping floors as a kid — shapes every decision he makes, from structural problem-solving to the design details that make a space exceptional.
A second-generation builder, Jason went on to earn a degree in Construction Management with honors from Ferris State University. He has spent his entire career with Orvosh Builders, growing into the presidency in 2017 and guiding the company’s evolution into one of Mid-Michigan’s most trusted remodeling & custom building firms.
Beyond the structural and technical side, Jason has a genuine passion for design and brings that perspective to most projects — helping guide decisions that shape how a space feels, functions, and comes together. That combination of deep trade knowledge and design sensibility is reflected in recognition at the Detroit Design Awards and two Builder of the Year awards from the Midland Home Builders Association.
Jason’s influence extends well beyond individual projects. In 2021, he became the youngest State President in Michigan HBA history. He has served on the Midland HBA Board of Directors for over 13 years — including two years as local president — and is deeply active at the national level with NAHB, where he was named a 2024 NAHB Young Professional Award winner and currently serves as Chair of the NAHB Young Professionals Committee.
He also founded the Michigan Young Professionals Committee at the state HBA level, helping build a pipeline of emerging industry leaders across Michigan. He was additionally recognized in Midland’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2022. Committed to the future of the trades, Jason serves on the Building Trades Advisory Committees at both Bullock Creek and Midland Public Schools and helped design the Introduction to Home Ownership class now offered at both schools — investing in the next generation long before they ever pick up a tool.
Outside of work, Jason enjoys life with his wife Stacy and their three daughters — backpacking and camping with friends and family, and restoring old cars.
